Dress up your carbs!

I’m Italian—I love my carbs.

Bread, pasta, sweets… you name it.

But ​my nutritionist​ introduced me to the concept of "dressing up my carbs."

Basically, you don't STOP eating carbs. You just stop eating them ALONE...When you eat carbs alone, they digest fast:

  • spikes your blood sugar
  • causing more cravings + crashes
  • and feeling hungry again way too soon.

BUT—if you eat protein first? (aka dress your carbs up in protein)

You slow that process down, keeping blood sugar stable and energy levels steady.

It’s so simple:🥤 Protein shake before a restaurant meal (so you don’t dive headfirst into the bread basket)🍓 Greek yogurt with fruit instead of fruit alone🥩 Meat appetizer before the pasta

The order you eat matters more than you think.

Protein first, then carbs.

It changed my life.
