Change your story, change your life.
Here’s an embarrassing secret... What you're about to read is a 1000% untouched journal entry of mine from last week:
I’m a loser. I’m a fat f*ck. And my business is failing.
Brutal, right?
But if you’ve ever been in a slump, you know how easy it is to let your thoughts spiral into a pit of self-hatred.
Here’s the thing—I don’t even believe that story.
It’s just the one my brain latched onto in a moment of weakness.
And the problem? The more you repeat a story, the more it becomes your identity.
So I rewrote it. Same life, different lens:
I'm a winner because I won the lottery of life. I'm fit as f*ck, and only getting fitter by the day. I've built a successful business before, and I'm in the process of doing it again."
Same person. Same reality. Just a better narrative.
The words you tell yourself matter. They shape how you show up.If you’re stuck in a cycle of negative self-talk, try this:
- Write down the sh*t-talking version of your story. Be brutally honest.
- Flip it. Reframe each negative statement into something empowering but still true.
- Repeat the new story until it sticks.
Your mind will believe whatever you tell it.
