The REAL Reason The Rich Get Richer
Trade your expectations for appreciation.
Once upon a time, God came down to Earth for a quick visit and sat next to an old man sitting on the grass.
“Beautiful day, isn’t it?” God asked.
“Oh, it’s stunning!” the man said, smiling. “The sky is so blue - and I love how it's always changing - it's like a live painting! And when those trees flow in the breeze... my goodness! And don't even get me started on all these cool bugs — they’re like mini master-engineers. You created a masterpiece!”
Feeling appreciated, God moved on and sat with a woman sipping coffee. “What do you think of the world?” He asked.
She sighed. “Honestly? It’s a mess. For starters, the weather is so dumb. Why couldn't you just make it sunny everyday? And then when it gets windy, my hair always gets messed up. And don’t even get me started on these disgusting bugs.”
God nodded quietly and went back to His throne. As He sat down to plan His next blessing, He thought to Himself: Who should get it? The one who thanked me—or the one who complained?
Who do you think God chose?
